ECOTOP Baron
Radio-Controlled Planes for RC Pilots
Overview
The Ecotop Baron is a replica of the famous RC plane created in the 1960s by Christian Chauzit. This model is perfect for beginners to RC aeromodeling. It has become a must-have model for clubs and beginners, as well as for model aircraft enthusiasts taking part in the famous Coupe des Barons!
Originally a two-axis model, its success has led to numerous three-axis versions... The Baron Ecotop still has the famous multilongeron wing, but the dihedral has been slightly reduced so that it can be flown in both two-axis and three-axis versions.
Features:
- The allure and flying style of the original Baron are respected.
- The transparent canvas covering of the open structures allows you to appreciate the construction.
- It's as easy to fly as a three-axle trainer of equivalent size.
- The very large wheels with their antique look are at home on grass runways.
- And of course... the model is delivered assembled and covered with canvas, so all that's left to do is final assembly, fitting the radio and motorization.
- The Baron can be flown peacefully in the style of early aviation, but can also be used for basic aerobatics.
