WOWINGS Booby

The Booby is a RC flying wing glider designed for slope soaring. Our new 2005 design update with modified planform and new specially designed airfoil section has improved it's all-round performance significantly. It has a broader speed range and improved turning performance. It can now be slowed down a little easier for landings and lighter lift conditions but it's awesome top speed has still been maintained, if not increased!

The Booby is a very fast flyer and retains speed through turns very well. It will fly fine in around 10 knots of wind on a good slope but 15 to 20 knots is ideal. It can comfortably handle up to around 30 knots of wind without any additional ballast weight. It has been designed for intermediate to advanced flyers seeking a top performing wing that will stand out from the crowd. With it's very unusual appearance and impressive flying performance it's sure to grab everyone's attention!
