Overview

The Taylorcraft is a classic high-wing, two-seat aircraft known for its efficiency and performance on low power, and E-flite’s Taylorcraft 450 ARF faithfully captures that character in a lightweight, easy-to-assemble park flyer. Built from balsa and plywood, it offers gentle, predictable handling suitable for most pilots, while the clipped-wing design adds aerobatic capability for loops, rolls, and inverted flight. Highly prefabricated construction allows assembly in as little as 3–4 hours, with factory-hinged control surfaces, an installed tailwheel, and easy-fit molded windows. Durable aluminum landing gear and a steerable tailwheel ensure confident ground handling. Scale realism is emphasized through accurate outlines, a classic cream-and-red UltraCote trim scheme, detailed cockpit features, and fiberglass components. Powered by E-flite’s Park 450 or optional 480 brushless motor and featuring an adjustable sliding motor mount and magnetic battery hatch, the Taylorcraft combines classic style, modern convenience, and versatile performance.
