SkyRaccoon (hereafter « the Site ») is a free catalogue of radio-controlled aircraft models, manufacturers, shops and datasheets. This page explains what data we collect and how it is used.

1. Data we collect

The Site itself does not require any registration and does not ask for personal information. The only data we handle directly is what you voluntarily send through our contact / request forms (Contact, Request a model, Request a shop, Request a manufacturer):

  • the information you type in the form (name, message, URLs);
  • technical metadata needed for anti-spam (IP address, browser user-agent, timestamp).

This data is used solely to answer your request and is never resold or shared with third parties.

2. Server logs

Our hosting provider (IONOS) keeps standard HTTP access logs containing IP address, requested URL, browser and timestamp. These logs are rotated regularly and used only to detect abuse and diagnose technical issues.

3. Cookies and third-party services

SkyRaccoon uses the following third-party services. Each may set cookies on your device:

  • Google AdSense — displays advertisements on the Site. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other sites. You can learn more and opt out at policies.google.com/technologies/ads .
  • Google Consent Management Platform (CMP) — when you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent banner provided by Google is shown. Your choice (personalized / non-personalized ads) is stored in your browser and transmitted to Google’s ad services. You can change your choice at any time by clicking the small floating « Privacy choices » icon.

4. Your rights

Under the GDPR and comparable laws, you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. You can exercise any of these rights by writing to us through the contact form.
