VA MODELS Fokker Dr1

Radio-Controlled Planes for RC Pilots

Overview

You may have seen Fokker Dr.1 in their offer in the past. The popular model, the first version, was produced until 2014, after which it was to be completely redesigned and an "airborne adversary" was to be added, with which the Fokker could "measure up" in the air. However, this has only finally happened now, with the advent of new technologies that have allowed us to really pull the model up to mock-up form. The current model does not carry a single element from the previous development version, the Fokker has been completely re-designed and the construction, workmanship, geometry, graphics are all new and different.

Even compared to the real model, they have compromised the geometry of the model to achieve non-intrusiveness, obedience, excellent maneuverability of the model, while maintaining its nature and aesthetic appearance of the model. they also thought about details such as the classic problem of WWI models, balancing the model. WWI aircraft, and the Fokker in particular, had a heavy rotary, radial engine in the nose of the aircraft that made up the majority of the weight of the aircraft. This posed a major problem for the smaller electric powered models, meaning the need to stick in large amounts of weight to balance the center of gravity. However, the proposition of our Fokker is designed so that this is not necessary and the model, even without complex rebalancing, is as balanced as possible. Also, the wings do not carry a profile like the real model. Here they have gone for an aerobatic profile to offer a beautiful period aircraft, but with excellent flight and aerobatic characteristics.
