The 470EFL main rotor head provides superior flight stability and offers a lower CG design to reduce flight resistance while providing a stiffer and faster rotor head response. To improve the strength and durability of the main and feathering shafts, the outer dimension of the 470 main shaft has been increased from 5 mm to 6 mm, while the outer dimension of the progressive shaft has been increased from 4 mm to 5 mm. The 470LT has adopted a 1.2mm high level 3K carbon fiber main frame and a wider body design that increases the size of the battery compartment allowing the use of a larger capacity battery. The 470L utilizes a new torque transmission assembly, dramatically reduces gear abrasion and increases power output to provide more direct and precise flight performance and extraordinary tail performance. The landing ramp is angled 5 degrees forward to improve impact resistance and make the T-REX 470L more forward thinking and dynamic.
