If you are looking for a Beginner-friendly Real-scale Pa-18 Piper Cub FPV version that can fly for a long time in the air you might want to check out the CraycleCub 800 mm FPV Trainer Plane.
Now you have a 3D-printed landing gear option and a bigger wheel for offroad landings!
The CraycleCub is based on the classic PA-18 Piper Cub design but with FPV compatibility. It has a durable Regular PLA construction, a strong fuselage for powerful brushless motors, a 3D Printed propeller spinner, a quick-release landing gear, and a steerable tail wheel. You can print this model with LW-PLA to make a park flyer.CraycleCub provides nice VTX cooling for any FPV system in the market. Like a real Pa-18 Piper Cub, it has extra motor cooling vents into the side of the fuselage.
We have also prepared special mounting brackets for GPS and FC (Flight Controller). An FC Mount compatible with all FCs with mounting holes from 15 mm to 25 mm, and for 18 mm GPS, which will be the most suitable option for this model, we have prepared two different bracket options that you can position on the servo or next to the FC.The CraycleCub is suitable for beginners who want to learn how to fly FPV, as well as intermediate and advanced pilots who want to have some fun in the air. The wingspan is 800 mm, which makes it easy to transport and store. You can experience the thrill of flying from the cockpit of a plane. It is easy to set up, easy to fly, and a lot of enjoy.
CraycleCub flies stable and slowly even if it's printed with Regular PLA. If you are an FPV Pilot, a Beginner, or a Piper Cub lover, then this model is a perfect choice for you.
