The Buschtrottel is the ultimate depron bush plane from the Trottel family. Because what's the most fun in model flying? Takeoffs and landings - if you have the right model for it - and all the other flying capers in between. Planned and implemented as a download plan model, anyone can indulge in this fun.

The Buschtrottel combines the best features of three models with which we have had a lot of fun lately: The Funcub from Multiplex, the Chopper from Hilmar Lange (FlugModell 10+11/2019) and the Trottel (Modell AVIATOR 12/2016). From the Funcub, Buschtrottel has the off-road capability, from the Chopper the ability to fly in confined spaces and from the Trottel the aerobatic capability as well as the extremely simple construction.

The Buschtrottel can be built in two versions, which differ only in the tailplane shape. The version with the round tail is based on the Shock Cub from Zlin Aviation, the one with the square tail on the Highlander from Wild West Aircraft - both well known STOL airplanes. The Highlander version was designed by Stephan Müller, many thanks for that! STOL is the abbreviation for Short Take off and Landing, i.e. take off and landing in the smallest of places. So the Buschtrottel should be able to do many things at once.
