Released in August 2013, the X3 (size 450) remains in the continuity of the X series and Gaui enters the great battle of the 450 classes with this brand new product. With a 6mm main shaft, a 5mm blade root shaft and, most importantly, a 4mm anti-torque shaft, strength is provided and allows for longer blade sizes, such as the latest Edge in 353mm. Equipped as standard with a Gaui flybarless rotor, the design ensures an extremely fast and precise response of the machine, while remaining smooth in flight. 

The transmission is based on that of the X7 and X4, so, cardan system with flat anti-torque crown, a system that has already proven itself on all terrains and that we are happy to find on this small size.

To keep a nice look and to have a fast flight efficiency, Gaui keeps the "Formula" bubble concept.

The body is designed "à la Gaui", therefore, very resistant and allows from the start to choose between a "classic" motorization in 3S (11.1V) or 6S (22.2V) according to the type of flight desired. The main ring gear is placed on a metal plate to ensure solidity and the main ring gear/motor pinion are mounted in helical.

Contrary to what we are used to see, the battery is housed in the body, so an extreme protection in case of crash and an easy handling.
