he HobbyKing® Alien 560 folding quad copter is a huge shift from the boring, standard, all too-common multi-rotor frame.

The Alien is not only stylish, with its futuristic looks and innovative equipment mounting options, but the overall design helps with directional orientation bringing a new level of excitement to flying. The Alien’s ability to fold its arms makes this a highly portable solution to larger wheelbase quad copters and yet is stronger than most “fixed” frames. It also maintains a square motor wheelbase, where most foldable quads have an asymmetrical motor layout that requires some extra tuning to get them to fly straight.

Don't let the good looks fool you, from an engineering standpoint the Alien 560 is packed with innovation, with its stacked frame construction, crab landing gear with built in ESC mounts and integrated adjustable hook/rail mounting for accessories. The carbon tube arms have aluminum inserts at the end so the motor mounts can be securely clamped without fear of cracking out the carbon tube. The lightweight 3k carbon components coupled with CNC hardware make this a rigid and light platform; perfectly suited for camera gimbals, fpv or sport flying.
