Macchi M33 50 GP from KYOSHO

he nostalgic era of seaplane racing was symbolized by the chase for the Schneider Trophy and the most advanced competitor of the time was the MACCHI of Italy. As a competition between Europe’s best aeronautical engineers, the Schneider Trophy won and lost records and reputations for its many famous participants. Competing at the peak of the biplane era, the cantilever monoplane design of the MACCHI M33 made its appearance in 1925 and while it finished a credible 3rd, its innovative modern form is still talked about even today. Kyosho has recreated the magic of this historical seaplane in a magnificent ARF (almost ready to fly) FRP fuselage. While maintaining scale accuracy, this model has been designed to produce optimal performance and control in the air and on the water with the overhead position of the power unit recreating both the MACCHI’s unique form and its responsive control. Without compromising the watertight design necessary for a seaplane, all components can be accessed through just one hatch on top of the nose section. Also, as the airplane is nearly fully assembled, you can be in the air or on the water without delay. Re-establish the connection between sea and air that was first created in the golden age of seaplanes with this magnificent MACCHI M33.

  • The position of the step on the exquisitely designed fuselage hull delivers smooth acceleration and perfectly timed lift off with no interruptions.
  • All servos and linkages can be easily accessed though the hatch on the top of the nose section for easy maintenance. A watertight structure provides peace of mind while navigating the water on landings and takeoffs.
  • Equipped with a submersible rudder that provides easy taxing control in the water.
  • Super scale appearance is achieved by recreating the same characteristics of the racing engine used on the original seaplane.
  • The Macchi M33 is an almost ready to fly models giving you the advantage by cutting down the prep time in half.
  • Watertight servo covers are included for both left and right aileron servos.
