The OMP Hobby Extra NG is a stunning semi-scale 3D aerobatic ARTF model designed for precision and performance. With a 1,700 mm (67") wingspan, this balsa and Kevlar/carbon-reinforced airframe is built for aggressive 3D maneuvers. Powered by a 2,000–2,600W brushless motor and a 6S LiPo (4,000–4,500mAh), it delivers raw power and agility.The symmetric airfoil wing splits into two sections, featuring carbon tube joiner and large ailerons controlled by dual servos. The classic fuselage includes a detachable fiberglass cowl, a spacious battery/servo bay, and a Kevlar/carbon-reinforced motor mount. The all-balsa empennage (elevator and rudder) is lightweight and controlled by servos in the rear fuselage.Finished in UltraCote film, the Extra NG rolls on a carbon composite main gear, fiberglass wheel fairings, and a steerable carbon tailwheel.
