This five-seater plane by German manufacturer High Performance Aircraft (HPA) is still in the development stage and is expected to hit the market next year. HPA officials say their mission is to build a cheaper executive jet by using raw materials and semi finished products from local suppliers and incorporating materials from the car manufacturing industry. The plane is expected to get Frankfurt business travelers non-stop to financial hotspots such as Greenland and Luxor, Egypt. The TT62 Alekto was completed and first flew on 22 February 2005. It was also the aircraft's only flight and High Performance Aircraft shelved the project to replace it with the more conventional TT62 Baltic.
