Staggerwing from fms

Details

At the height of the Great Depression, aircraft executive Walter H. Beech and airplane designer T. A. "Ted" Wells joined forces to collaborate on a project many considered foolhardy; a large, powerful, and fast biplane built specifically for the business executive. The Staggerwing Model 17, popularly known as the "Staggerwing" was first flown on November 4, 1932, setting the standard for private passenger airplanes for many years to come. It was considered, during its time, to be the premier executive aircraft flying, much as the Gulfstream executive jets are considered in contemporary times.

FMS is pleased to bring this exciting Staggerwing that is sure to be as big a hit as its full-scale inspiration. Most of its scale features, such as the detailed cockpit, clear windows and authentic paint scheme, are already installed or applied. Best of all, . All servos for the control surfaces including the flaps and retracts are already installed, making your assembly about as simple as it gets for an ARF with this level of detail. Add your radio system and battery and you are ready to fly a very stable performing aircraft. Plus being reasonably priced, you will love it!

Features:

  • High-end features such as flaps, navigation lights, and servoless electric retracts come standard on this Staggerwing
  • Smooth and predictable performance, both aggressively aerobatic and equally stable at all speeds
  • Numerous scale details including see-through cockpit, molded wing supports, LED navigation lights, large two blade prop, and high visibility color scheme
  • Brushless motor, ESC, and six servos come pre-installed for your convenience
  • Made of durable EPO foam
  • Compact size (41" wingspan) makes it easy to transport to the flying field without disassembly
