The Mini Q full-composite (GFRP) slope electric sport model is a sleek 80 cm flying wing made from fiberglass and carbon composite materials. It can be built either as an electric sport racer or as a pure slope glider. The Mini Q is fast and intended for experienced pilots.
The kit includes a beautifully molded one-piece wing with integrated fuselage made from fiberglass (GFRP) and carbon. The attractively shaped vertical fin is also fiberglass and fits into a slot at the rear of the fuselage. A carbon fiber motor mount and a fiberglass nose cone are included, allowing the Mini Q to be configured either for slope flying or electric power.
The motor mount has a diameter of approximately 33 mm, making it suitable for easy installation of 28 mm class outrunner motors. A spinner with a typical diameter of 32 mm is generally used with this setup.
