The Saab Draken is an iconic supersonic fighter-interceptor jet which was developed and manufactured by Saab between 1955 and 1974. More than 650 Drakens were produced and it served in the Swedish Air Force and several other nations air forces including Denmark, Finland and Austria.
The Draken is one of those jets that is instantly recognizable because of its double delta wing and leading edge air intakes. The semi scale model replicates these distinctive features and the elegant lines of the Saab Draken in a very precise and truthful way. No Cheater holes or non scale sized air intakes on this Saab Draken. The model will fly much like the real Draken and will even perform the famous Cobra maneuver.
The model is very strong and resilient to damage, especially if printed with PolyAir 1.0 PLA by 3DLabPrint. The model requires no carbon tubes or similar for reinforcements. Just print the parts and glue them together with cyano glue. The Saab Draken model is designed to be powered by a FMS 50mm EDF and a 4S2200mAh quality battery. Only two servos are needed as the model is controlled by elevons – just like the real Draken.
The model also features a large hatch for easy access to the battery and EDF. The hatch has a hidden locking mechanism that is triggered by moving the dorsal antenna forward. The model comes with a control throw gauge for easy adjusting of the correct movement of the elevons. The battery tray is spring loaded and can be positioned in three different positions making it easy to balance the model correctly at the Center of Gravity.

Although I do my best to complete this library, you may not find the model you are looking for.
In this case, do not hesitate to ask me to add it : You're not bothering me. Please be patient, depending on my workload, I may take a few days to work on your model and gather information.
I'm sometime asked to add a non flying model to this library but unfortunately, it's not the focus of this website
