The Extreme Flight 70CC Peregrine is the big brother of our popular electric 53” Peregrine biplane. The goal of the Peregrine project was to produce a sharp-looking, fully-aerobatic biplane that is instantly comfortable for monoplane pilots. With our quick-latching wings and tail, setup at the field is remarkably fast and easy.
Powered with either a DA-70 or GP-76cc twin cylinder gas engine, the Peregrine is happy in sport/precision, 3D, or XA flying modes. If you want to go 12S electric power, the Peregrine has an integrated battery hatch for easy access.
The Peregrine is a very complete kit including: pilot figure, cockpit floor and dashboard, standard foil wing bags, carbon fiber landing gear and tailwheel, carbon wing and stab tubes, and all competition-grade hardware (including Du-Bro ball links.) You’ll save time during assembly with factory pre-hinged and gap-sealed control surfaces, pre-installed control horns and genuine Ultracote covering. We go the extra mile with gas cooling baffles, a two-piece cowl, a clear template for cutting exhaust holes, all-quick-latching wings, struts, canopy and battery hatch and more!
The Peregrine features a unique flow-through cowl system with pre-fabricated fiberglass in-and-out cooling ducts to force cooling air directly over the cylinder heads of your engine. If you are using electric power, you can lightly modify the gas cooling ducts for your electric system, or you can use these 3D printing files to create custom-fit electric cooling ducts.
