The Antares is a thoroughbred F3L competition model that has been successfully proving itself since the 2023 competition season.
Just under 2 meters wingspan, just over 30dm² wing area, a take-off weight from 450 grams and guaranteed lots of fun! Everything the FAI-F3L regulations require.
No big design frippery - still beautiful - but performance without end and lots of innovative ideas. Wings hemmed in on the fuselage, an integrated battery charger and connection socket, a practical option for ballasting and a removable vertical stabilizer - to name just a few examples.
The wing is classically constructed with a D-box and a double spar chord on a balsa spar. It is very torsionally stiff and can be loaded to the maximum without having to worry about the structure of the wing during take-off, even with a little more wind. “Stiff as a board” and “full-load resistant” would probably describe it best.
The fuselage is also very stable thanks to its layered construction and can withstand even hard target landings thanks to targeted reinforcements in high-stress areas.
The flight behavior is extremely uncritical and suitable for beginners. The Antares shows thermals extremely well and once circled it doesn't stop so quickly. It is a real treat to be able to watch it climb. The enormous agility resulting from the rather high V-shape enables a high degree of maneuverability even in the tightest of spaces. This means that the smallest thermal bubbles can be flown very well and used wonderfully as springboards for greater fun further up.
The Antares also shows its potential in windy conditions. You can easily extremely large airspace for thermals in a short time without losing much height. Flying backwards in windy conditions is completely redefined here. Even long return flights to the landing point against strong winds suddenly seem like child's play.

Although I do my best to complete this library, you may not find the model you are looking for.
In this case, do not hesitate to ask me to add it : You're not bothering me. Please be patient, depending on my workload, I may take a few days to work on your model and gather information.
I'm sometime asked to add a non flying model to this library but unfortunately, it's not the focus of this website
Ask for a new model
