The CHALLENGER was designed with the intermediate/advanced sport flyer in mind. It is a scale airplane which is easy to fly and quick to assemble. The airframe is conventionally built using balsa, plywood to make it stronger than the average ARTF , yet the design allows the aeroplane to be kept light. You will find that most of the work has been done for you already. The motor mount has been fitted and the hinges are pre-installed . 

In these days of the ARTF model, as superb as they are, the skills, and sheer pleasure of building your own model can be yours again. These kits are superb, accurate laser cut interlocking parts with a full size plan and manual to guide you through the process leaves you with the pleasurable part of assembly. Of course you will have to source your own covering etc but the finished model will be uniquely yours with a feeling of satisfaction you only get with making your own.

As for the model if you are ready to move on to a low wing model then you really need to take a look at this. Classic layout, constant chord wing, thick symmetrical section, tail-dragger undercarriage, this one will soon have you flying aerobatics. Master this one then you are ready for anything.
The Super Sporter is typical of the .46 size low wing sports models we have seen at club patches for years, and there is nothing wrong with that - they fly so well!
