The StratAir Excite F5D is a purpose-built, high-performance electric pylon racing model designed to the F5D class specifications, known for high speed and competitive performance. It features a modular nose design that allows flexibility in motor installation and configuration, accommodating a wide range of propulsion setups without restrictions.
Constructed with a lightweight, torsion-resistant full carbon wing and a Kevlar/carbon reinforced fuselage, the Excite F5D blends strength with minimal weight for maximum efficiency. The main wing spar uses high-modulus carbon rovings for stiffness, and the kit includes multiple nose options for different flight roles, including gliding or motorized configurations.
Its compact size makes it practical to transport, yet the Excite is capable of speeds well beyond typical sport models, regularly flown in F5D racing and hotliner environments.
