Mu-13e from aero-naut

Details

The Mü-13e (later called Bergfalke I) was designed and built in 1951, at a time when gliding was banned in post-war Germany. Egon Scheibe designed the aircraft on the basis of the pre-war design Mü-13 of the Akademische Fliegergruppe München. The model, with a wingspan of 3.5 meters, offers the model builder both wood construction and flying pleasure. The wingspan enables excellent gliding performance on slopes and in level flight (high take-off, F-tow). Nevertheless, thanks to the split wing and the removable tailplane, the model is handy and compact enough to be easily transported. The fuselage is built on a pre-punched Depron hull, ensuring absolutely precise assembly. The model's airfoil structure was specially developed by Dr. Helmut Quabeck. The kit contains: All wooden parts (mainly plywood) laser-cut to build the fuselage, wing and planking material as well as for the cockpit canopy, all necessary accessories such as pine strips, hinges, screws etc. and detailed, illustrated building instructions.

ASK FOR A NEW MODEL TO BE ADDED

Although I do my best to complete this library, you may not find the model you are looking for.

In this case, do not hesitate to ask me to add it : You're not bothering me. Please be patient, depending on my workload, I may take a few days to work on your model and gather information.

I'm sometime asked to add a non flying model to this library but unfortunately, it's not the focus of this website
