The BobCat Composite is a fully molded composite ARF jet designed for quick assembly and easy setup, matching the original BobCat in size while incorporating advanced features from the larger KingCat. Large flaps and generous control surfaces improve slow flight and landing performance, making it one of the easiest jets to land. It operates with standard 8–9 channel radios and does not require a gyro.
The airframe is built using vacuum-bagged epoxy glass and foam laminates with laser-cut internal structures, reinforced by dual aluminum wing and stabilizer tubes and carbon-fiber components for exceptional strength and durability. Precision-engineered landing gear, manufactured in Florida, includes BVM jet wheels and brakes with a controlled-travel flex system for reliable ground handling.
The fuel system features centrally mounted 2.0 L Kevlar tanks with internal baffles for stable fuel flow during aerobatics, plus an additional hopper tank and UAT for larger turbines. This setup provides dependable 9–10 minute flight times with excellent reliability.
