Magnus - Latin for "great," God of magic. Designed, tested and flown by Jonathan Wells one of the UK's top DSing pilots.
Superior performance. There are flaps and ailerons, the wing surface is more beautiful. There is no rudder, only 5 servos are needed, which is also a saving for the players who contact the composite machine.
It is made of new technology and high-grade customized epoxy resin, which is twice the price of ordinary epoxy resin on the market. It has the advantages of high hardness, toughness and viscosity. The high-grade PVC foam sandwich is easy to repair even if it is damaged, and the weight of the empty machine is about 600g. Wing insert design, flat tail screw way, easy to dismantle and carry, can enjoy flying fun at any time.
Wing built-in ballast tube. The airfoil used in the high-end glider is selected, which has good maneuverability under different speed and wind conditions. Flight tests under different conditions show that the small aircraft has good over bending characteristics, high maneuverability, controllable and easy landing characteristics, and no bad habits.
This plane is very popular in the United Kingdom and the United States in the 60 Inch plane. In addition, there are 3 different graphic packages for you to choose from.
The two piece wing is available in glass and carbon layups. The glass version has a fair amount of carbon and is very strong. The full carbon version is about 50g heavier and is extremely strong and rigid and will be ideal for DSing on the backface. The wings are kept in place with a very substantial carbon joiner. The tailplane is removable making the model very easy to store and transport. The fuselage is glass with carbon reinforcement and is a very sleek design. The large canopy hatch gives great access to the long nose, making for a very easy RC installation and easy balancing. There is some space under the wing for ballast, and also pockets approx 20mm x 8mm x 100mm are molded into the wing roots for more ballast (not supplied).
